7,107 islands minus 100.
Bolinao and Alaminos, Pangasinan.
May 2011
I was invited to an out of town trip, by the CPh Process Group. Of course, I said yes. When did I ever say no? Wait. I know. One time, June, I said no to Bellaroca. I shall see you next time, Marinduque. :)
Enough of the segues, we left for Pangasinan on a Friday.

Bolinao Falls. Never Stop Exploring. |
The sight that welcomed us.

After breakfast.

Baby hogs were cramped in the wicker baskets |
And we saw our first falls.
Going to Bolinao Falls 3.
 |
Our trek |
Had to return. The place where we went was not suitable for swimming. Blamed it on the coal makers. The footprints they left were not a pretty sight.
 |
Water spa |
Along the way, more waterfalls.
That afternoon, we went to Enchanted Cave, Bolinao lighthouse, and Patar Beach.
 |
The gang |
I was not particularly impressed with the cave, what with the cemented stairs and the electrical wires along its mouth. Although, I would have loved to try the pool inside, I was too lazy that time to change into swim clothes. Perhaps next time.
When I had my Canon Ixus 100 IS, I was very fond of taking shots that accents one color only. This specific photograph, I especially liked because of the poignancy it depicts. Maybe it's just me. But then again, beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder. Haha. I kid. :)

I like seeing solar panels. :) It's a genius.

Harnessing the energy from the sun. |
Beautiful, aint it?

Yay beach mode!

Next day.
And we were off to the famous Hundred Islands.

I especially liked one of the islands whose sand was comparable to that of Boracay. And the island where we chanced upon a cave. Had to jump in order to get out. :) Euphoric.
I love my travels. It rewards me in more ways than my savings account would. Hahaha. I live for jampacked weekends. Let's travel more! :)
