Definitely Vacay

I've been very excited for weeks! Giddy and giggling almost every single time I remember the impending trip. Ten (10) days. New country. New culture.

We were set to go to South Korea from October 26 until November 5. It was long planned, after the Hong Kong trip and before Boracay, me think. We were lucky to get fare discounts, and got a two-way ticket for around 5,500 PhP.

Normally, Filipinos have direct flights to Incheon, Seoul. But since there were no discounted flights on our preferred dates, we opted to fly in Busan. I've never even heard of the place. Before this trip, I only knew of two places in SK: Seoul and Jeju Island. Haha! Me and my geography. Tch.

DAY 0. OCTOBER 26. Manila

Our flight was not until 1600H. Chabs came from Japan the day before. Flew to Philippines for Home Leave, but went to Korea the day after. We met at around 1400H in the mall. since she was having lunch with Jason, another college classmate. Siya na ang may oras. Haha.

My Day 0 was hectic. And that's an understatement. I was due for suture removal at 1000H. Dreaded it, in fact. But good thing it went off without a stitch, err, hitch. So there, I was totally psyched, I could not even finish my packing. I am utterly vulnerable to cold, as attested by my Mt. Pulag, Hong Kong, and Macau trips. So, as I was packing and repacking my thermal wears, I finally settled with less clothes than what will be required of the ten-day trip, and -2 degree Celsius weather. I planned to shop. :P

We went to the airport just in the nick of time. Checked in. And anticipated our flight with picture taking, revising itinerary, and chomping eats.

Reunited for a trip!
