start of something new

4.19.2014
Al + Abby
The day dawned sunny in Paranaque. We were headed out to Tagaytay.
Slivers of sunlight peaking over chunky clouds. A road trip was underway.

The bride, Abby, has always been a beauty -- with her big doe eyes, kindred spirit, and patient demeanor.
On her wedding day, Abby was all those things and more. Much, much more. She was radiating with joy! To finally be able to tie the knot with her lover, bestfriend, and God's best, it was such a show and everyone was thoroughly amazed at love's magical mystery.

The wedding itself was dotted with flowers - tulips and roses and whatnot - every depiction of beauty. I was amazed at how diligently each gathering was set up, from the garden ceremony (theme: barnyard wedding) to the reception. You can see much love and effort were put to this one day, the commencement of their forevermore.

I also like the ceremony. This is I think my first Christian wedding, and it was definitely an eye-opener. I love the lessons I heard from Brother Mel. After learning that he does couple counseling, I wasn't that surprised.

Thank you, Blove (now Mrs. B), for all that you are. Thank you for sharing with me one of the best and grandest days of your life.

Good health and abundant blessings to both of you, as well as little Abbys and Als on the way! Congratulations and we love you! <3

Yeye + Kate
I woke up early to tidy up a bit our common room. The day shows a promise. Of sun and kisses, love and great joy.

Although a small tidbit in the morning got me upset, I even shed a few tears after being made up, this did not deter me from attending one of the biggest events in one of my bestfriend's life - it was Yeye's blissful wedding day to the love of his life: Kate.

Since the time I knew him, Yeye has been hopeful that one day, he will meet his better half. And that this time around, he will have his happy-ever-after which will be blessed by God. For most couples, a wedding is for the sake of the bride. This one is unlike any other. This one's for the groom. Haha!

Waiting for Kate during the ceremony, it was an inspiring bit. She entered the church with radiance of love, very pretty indeed. Quirky promises, true love, and humor throughout the event, this is one for the books, much more than the one year love story, theirs will last a lifetime.

It was such a joy to hear of Yeye gushing after he rendered a song to his new wife, and the new wife doing the same - making Yeye cry more. Haha!

With the beau and the newly wedded couple

Congratulations, Yeye and Kate! May God bless your union with lots of babies on the way! *baby-steps baby-steps*
