Beijing ITINERARY

Day 1 / June 12
Nanlouguxiang Street









Day 2 / June 13
Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace
Tian'anmen Square - monuments testifying to the communist, and more specifically, Mao's influence on China's modern history

Forbidden City - the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history in the world. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours.






 Chinese traditional medicine culture

Temple of Heaven - the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. 




Western and Chinese buffet lunch in Bangfuchun Restaurant
short visit to a pearl free market

Summer Palace - the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden; regarded as a museum of gardens in China. 






Day 3 / June 14
Panda House, Yonghe Lama Temple, Hutong tour & exterior sight of Birds Nest,Water Cube


China Tea House to enjoy tea ceremony

Largest Lama Temple of Beijing --- Yonghe Temple - for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple

Hutong tour - have lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house

Day 4/ June 15
Badaling Great Wall & Ming tombs - Changling

Ming Tombs (50 miles away from downtown). The thirteen Ming Tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history;  Changling - the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried



Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
Traditional Chinese lunch at Jindian restaurant. 

Badaling Great Wall. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Badaling section is the most famous wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable cars are available.




Chinese traditional handicraft silk carpet factory.
