Houses on stilts built to a hilt!

Apulit Island
previously known as Club Noah
I shot this from my iPod.

May 2011. It was summer and it was once again a time to kiss Mr. Sun. Hi dearest Sunshine. Did you miss me? I missed you lots.

Here, we posed inside one of ITI's chartered plane going to Taytay, Palawan.
Third time aboard this miniature plane.
And upon landing, we took a van going to the port. We rode a speed boat towards a bigger boat which will take us to Apulit Island. Then we took another speedboat to bring us to the island's jetty. Hectic, yes. But the sights were surreal, the heat scorching, and the waters, inviting. Oh this close to communing with nature. Oh this close to euphoria. :)

A buffet for lunch nourishes the stomach. A Mario Puzo nourishes the mind.

My pastime.
Kids

Then, not a minute longer, we sailed.
Kayaking on day 1.
Tried my hand at wind surfing.
It was a cinch.
HAHAHAHA
It was heavy!!! And my stance was all wrong.

Peeta's favorite color was orange. Like the setting sun. I look at it.
Just streaks. But it's there.
Buffet for dinner.

Ready to snooze.
Alot reading. Me painstakingly trying to get a good shot. With me in it. :D

DAY 2.
Yes you can!

Snorkeling.

DAY 3.

I was koalaing way before it was in.

The day was spent kayaking around the island. Nah, maybe just half of it. Hahaha. Or maybe just a quarter of it. Our arms were extremely tired. And I was nursing a slight hangover.

Kayaked for 2 hours. We. EXHAUSTED.

But I was adamant on perfecting my wind surfing skills. Not contented, here I go trying another bout of heavy sail lifting. Haha.
Got it!
Perfect!

Now I am one happy kid. ^_^

Serenity

Goodbye peaceful place.
Fly away on my zephyr.

Ah Palawan. I will do a McArthur to you. I shall return.
